New Mazda CX-30 latest Mazda vehicle to receive IIHS top safety award

The 2021 Mazda CX-30 has received the prestigious IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award, the highest award a vehicle can get in North America when it comes to safety. The new 2021 Mazda CX-30 passed every IIHS test with flying colors including the dreaded small overlap test.

The Mazda CX-30 therefore becomes the latest Mazda model to receive the Top Safety Pick+ designation, joining six other models including the Mazda3 Sport, Mazda3, Mazda6, Mazda CX-3, Mazda CX-5, and Mazda CX-9. No other automaker has as many top IIHS awards.
