2022 Mazda CX-30 vs. 2022 Mazda CX-3 : Superb Versatility and Efficiency

Whether you’re looking for versatility, performance, ample room for passengers or all of the above, the Mazda lineup has the right vehicle for you. The Mazda CX-30 and the CX-3 are both value-packed vehicles that include plenty of performance and technologies. The CX-30 focusses on space and performance, while the CX-3 delivers ultimate value and efficiency. But both are extraordinarily stylish and are backed by one of the industry’s best warranties

Let’s see how these two Mazdas compare.

The 2022 Mazda CX-30 Banks on Performance and Standard AWD

Under the hood of the Mazda CX-3, you will find a four-cylinder 2.0-litre engine with an output of 148 hp and 146 lb-ft of torque in all trim levels. A 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic are available, as well as FWD and AWD configurations. The CX-3’s fuel consumption ratings are the lowest of the two vehicles, with 8.3 L/100 km in the city and 6.9 L/100 km on the highway.

The Mazda CX-30, on the other hand, lets drivers choose between three engines. The base engine is an efficient 2.0-litre unit that boasts 155 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque. There is also the 2.5-litre Skyactiv engine on the menu, which delivers 186 hp and 186 lb-ft of torque.

For ultimate performance, the 2.5-litre Skyactiv-G turbocharged engine is available with up to 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of instant torque.

These engines are paired with a carefully calibrated 6-speed automatic transmission that channels the power to the standard i-Activ AWD system for ultimate control and G-Vectoring Control Plus for improved cornering performance.

The CX-3 offers excellent value

The CX-30 provides more volume for passengers and cargo thanks to its increased dimensions. When it’s full of passengers, the CX-3 offers 467 litres of space. If the rear seating area is folded, the volume increases to 1,209 litres. The CX-30, on the other hand, delivers 572 litres when five passengers are seated, and 1,280 when the rear seats are folded.

In terms of pricing, the base price for the CX-3 is $21,800, while the CX-30 is offered at a base price of $26,100. Come and see them today! You can also shop for your Mazda online with us, our representatives are waiting for your call and can answer all your questions.
