2023 Mazda3 will start at $21,600

Pricing and trims information was announced earlier this month for the 2023 Mazda3 which also receives a few significant changes that will make the Mazda compact offering that much more efficient and dynamic.

The Mazda3 will continue to be offered in both sedan and hatchback (Sport) versions, and both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models will also be available. The 2023 Mazda3 will also offer three powertrains like the current model, but Mazda has made some significant improvements in order to provide better efficiency and better overall performance.

The most significant change made to the 2023 Mazda3 involves the 2.5-litre SKYACTIV-G engine which now delivers 191 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. This is a small performance improvement over the current engine, but it allows this powertrain to continue as one of the most powerful in its segment. Better yet, the engine has been made more fuel-efficient. The 2023 Mazda3 now averages 8.7 L per 100 km in the city, and just 6.4 L per 100 km on the highway. In other words, the Mazda3 gains more power and improves efficiency in the process.

The entry-level 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 155 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque returns as well, and it also will be more efficient. The 2023 Mazda3 will also be offered with the impressive 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers an impressive 250 horsepower along with 320 pound-feet of torque with premium fuel. Even with regular fuel, this engine is more powerful than any other powertrain in this segment. This engine is available in the top-of-the-line 2023 Mazda3 GT turbo which starts at just $36,100.

The Mazda3 Sport which starts at $22,600 will be the first to go on sale while the sedan model will arrive on the market early next year. Give us a call today to learn more about the all new 2023 Mazda3.
