Our response to COVID-19

We are limiting 1 customer per shuttle ride, disinfecting the shuttle van after every customer ride. We have valet service, where our Service Manager (Cam) will come pick up your Mazda, leaving one of our Mazdas in the spot, taking payment over telephone and returning the vehicle after it is serviced and sanitized. So if you feel unsafe, you have the option to not even step inside our dealership.

Every vehicle that comes through for service, our technicians are using seat covers and gloves, then after it is done being serviced, all the touch points are sanitized (steering wheel, gear shift, keys, anything the techs would have touched)

Every Service work order/invoice is getting this line added to it: “We understand that with COVID-19 you may be feeling a bit uneasy about bringing your vehicle in for servicing. We’d like to let you know we have taken extra precautions ourselves, such as extra sanitizing and cleaning internally.

All customer vehicles are wiped down before and after a staff members gets into the vehicle. Our staff is also wearing disposal gloves and using seat covers. We also have limited daily shuttle rides, and limited temporary vehicle pickup & drop off servicing available.

Sales- No salespeople are going on test drives. Every demo vehicle/keys are sanitized after being test driven. We are encouraging customers to make test drive appointments, and have had no issues with too many people being crowded in the dealership.

We are cleaning high traffic areas every ½ hour (or when used), wiping down all door handles (inside and out- bathroom included), coffee pot handle, have taken away our public candy dish, cleaning the service/parts counter and wiping down the chair/couch/tables after each customer is done there in the lounge. We are also changing our cloths/rags every day to a clean one, to disinfect the cars/keys/any surface.

We have seven hand sanitizer pumps all around the dealership, then one in each sales person’s office (that aren’t temp laid off) So 10 total hand sanitizers around.

Our main station is right at the service door, where customers can choose to wear a disposable mask and gloves as well if customers choose to wear any of these.
