Mazda3, Mazda CX-5 among Best vehicles for teens according to IIHS

September 22 2022,

Are you looking for the best possible vehicle for your teenager who is about to start driving? Do you worry about the safety and reliability of the vehicle your teen will be driving? A list of the Best New and Used Vehicles for Teenagers was recently published by IIHS and Consumer Reports that can help parents make the best possible decision for their teen and ensure that they get the best vehicle when it comes to reliability and dependability.

Safety and dependability are both key features of the vehicles on this list. A combination of safety test data from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and reliability and dependability data from Consumer Reports was used to create this list. This provides parents with a comprehensive list of vehicles that are perfect for young drivers. That said, the list also provides relevant information for anyone concerned about the safety and dependability of their next vehicle, regardless of whether they are a teenager or not!

A vehicle must pass every IIHS safety test with the highest possible grade in order to be included on this list. In addition, it must score above average or better in Consumer Reports' reliability tests, dry braking distance tests, and emergency handling tests.

A number of pre-owned Mazda vehicles and a number of new Mazda vehicles were recommended for teenagers by the IIHS and Consumer Reports based on these tests.
