Three Technologies that Improve Winter Life in the 2023 Mazda CX-30

The 2023 Mazda CX-30 can make your life easier in winter with its standard AWD system, its heated seats and steering wheel as well as the My Mazda App.

The i-Activ all-wheel drive

The 2023 Mazda CX-30 comes standard with the competent i-Activ all-wheel drive system that improves its safety and capability when driving on slippery roads. This system works by monitoring the speed of every wheel at all times in order to detect any trace of wheel spin as soon as it starts to occur. To increase the level of grip on ice and in deep snow, the engine’s power is sent to the rear axle as well as the front in a seamless manner that keeps you moving when other vehicles continue to spin their wheels. Due to its torque vectoring technology, this system gives the CX-30 an increased level of stability, especially on curves, by sending power to the outside wheels.

The My Mazda App

The 2023 Mazda CX-30 comes standard with the Mazda Connected Services, which include the My Mazda App. This is useful for winter since this app can allow you to start the engine and pre-condition the cabin. By clicking a button on the app, the engine can be run for 10 minutes before your departure to allow the climate control system to reach the last set temperature. This means that you will never have to enter a cold vehicle ever again.

The heated seats and steering wheel

The 2023 Mazda CX-30 comes standard with front heated seats with three adjustable levels in order to offer you and your passenger an impressive level of comfort in all weather. Stepping up to the GS trim level or higher allows you to benefit from the heated steering wheel, which helps you warm up quicker, even if you don’t like to wear gloves while driving. Combined with the dual-zone automatic climate control system which features heating ducts for the rear seats, these two features make driving in winter more enjoyable for everyone.
