Why Buy a 2023 Mazda CX-30

The 2023 Mazda CX-30 is a dynamic compact SUV that combines performance, technology, and practicality. Here’s why you should consider it.

Powerful engines and an advanced chassis

The 2023 Mazda CX-30 is a fun-to-drive small SUV that benefits from an advanced chassis and powerful engines to make every road more enjoyable. The standard powertrain in the CX-30 GX is a 2.0L Skyactiv four-cylinder that generates 155 horsepower and stepping up to the GS and GT models brings a 2.5L engine that delivers 191 horsepower in the GS and 187 horsepower in the GT. This model can also be ordered with a turbocharged version of the same engine that bumps the output to 250 horsepower on premium fuel. Combined with the standard i-Activ all-wheel drive system, this makes the CX-30 more engaging to drive than its competitors.

More technology for the money

The 2023 Mazda CX-30 is a good value since it offers more technology and features for your money than most other small SUVs. For example, the entry-level GX comes standard with heated front seats, LED headlamps, and taillamps, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, Mazda Connected Services, an 8.8-inch infotainment screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as driver assistance technologies such as blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rain-sensing wipers. The GS model also adds a heated steering wheel, automatic dual-zone climate control, leather on the steering wheel and the shifter, and additional driver assistance technologies. The GT completes the lineup with standard features such as a Bose sound system, a head-up display, built-in navigation, adaptive headlamps, Traffic Jam Assist, Homelink, front parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera.

More space than you might think

Despite its relatively small exterior dimensions, the 2023 Mazda CX-30 offers enough interior room to be practical both in terms of passenger and cargo carrying. This is exemplified by the 1,280 litres of cargo capacity being the front seats that can be used to transport large items such as bikes, skis, or pieces of furniture. Since every 2023 CX-30 is equipped with AWD as standard, its practicality is also improved by being able to go anywhere even in winter.

How the All-New 2026 Mazda CX-5 Transforms Rear-Seat Comfort for Prairie Road Trips
