New Mazda CX-30 Makes North American Debut in Los Angeles

We had the opportunity to see the new Mazda CX-30 at the Geneva International Motor Show last March, but now it made its grand entrance in North America at the last Los Angeles Auto Show.

The Mazda CX-30 will slot between the Mazda CX-3 and the Mazda CX-5 when it arrives on the market early next year. It will be offered in three versions, GX, GS and GT. The base engine will be a 2.0-liter SKYACTIV four-cylinder with 155 horsepower while the more powerful 186-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine will be available with all-wheel drive.

Starting at $ 23,950, the Mazda CX-30 will be a great option for those who want an SUV that behaves like a car and looks like a car, but still offers plenty of cargo space. It will offer a lot of equipment starting with several safety technologies such as automatic braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control and a lane departure prevention system. An 8.8-inch display will be standard with the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features.
